How to Tow a Lifted Jeep Level Behind a Motorhome
Published 11/11/2018 >
Question:
I have an 11 inch height difference between my receiver and the D-ring connection at my aftermarket bumper on my 2014 Wrangler Unlimited. Is this acceptable, or do I need to elevate my connection point on the RV?

You will absolutely need to use a high-low adapter in order to bring the connection point of the towbar more parallel with the trailer hitch receiver. The recommended distance is +/- 3" but the closer you are the better the vehicle will tow. For this, I recommend using the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter part # RM-048-10 which offers up to a 10-1/4" rise/drop. Please note that the trailer hitch side is measured using the center of the receiver tube.
I have attached a review video for you as well.
