Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System for Grand Design Imagine 2800BH Travel Trailer

Question:

I am interested in upgrading the suspension on a Grand Design Imagine 2800BH Travel Trailer to allow for me to carry more weight, to get a smoother ride, and to get more clearance when boondocking off the beaten path. Would an axle like this allow me to do this? Is this the right one for the job?

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w/ Electric Brake Hubs # A35RS545E is absolutely going to give you the suspension upgrade you are looking for in terms of a smoother ride on your Grand Design Imagine 2800BH travel trailer because they work independently of one another, compressing as the load increases.

Installing the Timbrens # A35RS545E will require your 2017 Grand Design Imagine to have a crossmember above the spot where you want to install them; if it does not you can either retrofit your Imagine 2800BH with a crossmember or use 2-inch steel tubing to connect the 2 Timbren suspensions together.
