Since you already have a gooseneck hitch installed in your 2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500, I would recommend using a fifth-wheel trailer to gooseneck adapter. Checkout the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, part # AM3100. You will also need to use safety chains, part # AM3109.

You will need to measure to determine the correct adapter you will need for your towing setup. Begin by having your truck and trailer on level ground. Back your truck into position as if you were going to hook-up to tow your trailer. Then, measure from the top of the gooseneck ball to the bottom of the pin box on your fifth-wheel.

If you have a short-bed model Dodge Ram, you will want to use an offset adapter like the Ranch Hitch Universal Offset 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, part # AM3139.

The Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel, is compatible with BandW Turnover Ball, Draw-Tite and Reese Hide-A-Goose, or Bulldog Underbed Gooseneck hitches.

If you can send me the measurement from the top of your gooseneck ball to base of your pin pix, I would be glad to recommend a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter.
