Could Rack Em Spare Tire Carrier # RA-16HST Carry 19.5 inch Wheel

Question:
Will this hold a 19.5 inch tire and wheel? Is there also a weight limit for this? Thanks very much for the help.

Expert Reply:
I spoke with Rack Em, and the # RA-16HST spare tire carrier will work with basically all wheels with a diameter of 12 inches and up. The wheel bore will need to be able to clear the end piece of the carrier, which measures 2-15/16 inches by 2 inches.
There is not a specific weight capacity for this carrier, but their engineer let me know that it has been tested up to 300lbs.
