Question:
I recently purchased a Gas Flo regulator to replace the Winn-tec 6020 that came with my RV trailer. When I searched your website, I was informed this new regulator would be an exact fit. While trying to replace the regulator I am unable to fit the existing hoses onto the Gas Flo regulator because the hose connectors are too big. The documentation that came with the new regulator states the connectors are the same size as the Winn-tec regulator. I now see on your website the Camco product says it is the perfect replacement, however the information regarding that product does state that new hoses are needed. I am now unsure if I should have purchased new hoses or if perhaps, I was sent the wrong product. The numbers on the back of the new regulator are: GR-9984XF 2140 04522 EFV 138 CFH Any help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you

You will need hoses with a 1/4" male inverted flare to connect to the JR Products Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30395. I was unable to find the hose size that connected to the Winntec you have, but if they don't fit, then they wouldn't be 1/4" male inverted flare, as that's the correct size for the # 37207-30395.
So you will need new hoses, and can choose the length you need from the following, each of which has the correct fitting to connect to your regulator:
- 1 Foot: MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare # 100575-12-MBS
- 2 Feet: MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare # 100575-24-MBS
- 3 Feet: MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare # 100575-36-MBS
- 4 Feet: MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare # 100575-48-MBS
