Can Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers Replace Longer Triangular Equalizers

Question:

The attached picture shows my current suspension. My measurements are 6 1\6 from center to center bottom two holes. Will the equilflex suspension I just purchased work on my current set up? Because the space from center to center is different. I have a StarCraft travel trailer tandom axle, 3500 each axle.

You can use the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 as a replacement for your current equalizers, which are equivalent to the Triangular Equalizer # TREQ310 but you will need to replace your shackle straps as well.

The reason for this is the Equa-Flex measures 5-1/2 inches wide while your current equalizer is 6-1/16 inches wide so longer shackle straps such as the Shackle Strap - 3-1/8" Long # TRSL313 would be needed, assuming your current shackle straps are the standard 2-5/8 inch used on tandem axle trailers.
