My Surley has 5inch tires so are straps available for the new Thule rack that accommodates these large tires to secure properly?

Fat Bike Straps # TH985101 will allow a bike with tires up to 4-11/16 inches wide to fit the EasyFold XT, # TH903202, but not 5 inch wide tires.
There are other bike racks that will accept fat bike tires up to 5 inches wide right out of the box:
