The axle placement formula listed below will need to be calculated using the trailer's gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is the most the trailer can weigh loaded. This will ensure that the trailer is setup to properly handle a full load. There should be an info tag on the trailer (near tongue) that lists the (GVWR) but if not you would need to contact the trailer manufacturer with your VIN.
