Question:
I have a king ranch 2015 truck. I need to out a ladder rack on it so I can use the bed for materials at times. I also wanna be able to convert my truck to a non work truck by hiding the ladder rack system so it isnt so high? For personal use How low does this ladder rack slide down. Of coarse the middle part would stay but at least it wont be so high when I dont have a ladder on it.... Or Im open for another rack system Thanks

The height range for the Thule Xsporter Pro part # TH500XT that you referenced is 6 inches at it's lowest from the top of the bed rails to the top of the crossbar to 31-1/2 inches at it's highest. For what you are wanting this would be the best solution we offer. I attached an install video for the rack on a similar F-150 for you to check out as well.
