The Knob Seems Stuck. Any Tips on How to Remove It?

Question:

Greetings, I have a Thule Xsporter Pro, several months ago I removed the uprights in order to load a tall object into the back of the truck. I tightened the rack clamp knob as I did not want it to fall off. I wanted to re-install the uprights but the rack clamp knob now does not want to rotate. It seems stuck. Any ideas how to resolve this? Thanks!

I went ahead and brought the issue to my contact at Thule, and he said to either use WD-40 to spray on the available threading and use a pair of pliers to grab onto the T-Bolt while you try to rotate the knob. This will allow you to have extra lubrication and leverage when trying to remove the knob from your Thule Xsporter Pro.
