Is there a Plug and Play Harness to Install a Brake Controller on a 2019 Chevy Traverse

Question:
Hi, I have a new 2019 Chevy Traverse Premier and need to know which wiring harness to order to install the Prodigy P2 brake controller. My car came with the factory tow package and the manual says there are four blunt cut wires behind the drivers instrument panel I see from an earlier post you think its an actual plug not wires. Could you tell me which harness to order. Thanks

We know that the 2017 Chevy Traverse with factory 7-Way trailer connector had a plug-in location for a brake controller but nothing is shown for the 2019 Traverse. I would check under the dash, to the left of the steering column, for that wire bundle mentioned in your manual. It is likely held together with a white tag (that is traditionally how GM has handled the wire bundles).
If the wire bundle is present the tag should list the functions of the wires. On a brake controller such as the P2 # 90885 the white wire is ground, black is 12 volt power in, red is input from the brake switch, and blue is output to the trailer brakes. Just splice in the brake controller wires to the tow package wire bundle by function.

I dont have the factory 7 way. I do have. A 7 way plug i installed. I recently bought your harness 3026p. I dont have factory tow pkg. Do i need a different harness to power up my brake controller. This harness does not have the connectors out to 7 way.
