Question:
I need a ball mount between a 3/4 rise and 1 and 1/4 but cant find one. Do they make a zero rise and ball mount with2 inch square shank?

Expert Reply:
The least amount of rise for a 2 inch ball mount would be 3/4 inch, like the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount, part # AMSC2. This is one of the most popular ball mounts. The next size up would be a 1 inch rise, like the B&W Ball Mount, part # BWBMHD30010. I am including links to product pages that will list the ball mounts with a 3/4 inch rise and with a 1 inch rise.
You will want to make sure the gross towing weight capacity and the tongue weight capacity of the ball mount you choose should match or exceed the trailer hitch capacities.
When measuring the difference between the hitch height and the coupler height, you will choose a ball mount with the correct rise or drop that is the closest to the difference. It does not have to be the exact difference. I am including a link to a FAQ page that will describe choosing the correct ball mount.
I have multiple ball mounts that come with two or three hitch balls already attached to the ball mount that will have a zero rise or drop, like the CURT Two-Ball Mount, part # C45002.
If you can give me more information, like the vehicle and the application you will be using the ball mount for, I can help you choose the correct part.
