How many SUPs can you put on this rack? I waould like to stack 2 boards. Thanks

We do have carriers that will easily handle your 2 SUPs but the Rhino-Rack Nautic 580 Side Loading Kayak Carrier # RR580 is not ideal for transporting two SUPs since it is primarily intended for use with one kayak.

If you want a load-assisted carrier you can use the Yakima ShowDown SUP Carrier and Lift Assist, part # Y04081, which includes tie-downs. This carrier works on all roof rack bar shapes and so long as the roof rack is not the type that mounts to the vehicle door jambs. It also requires that the rack bars extend out from the rack towers by at least 3-1/2-inches and that the bars themselves be at least 24-inches apart for stability. The linked diagram shows all mounting requirements.

For a low-cost option that is closer in price to the Nautic then please have a look at the SUP Shuttle # TH811XT from Thule. This carrier handles 2 boards up to 34-inches in width and it also includes tie-downs.
