Question:
Would like to haul sixteen feet 2×10×16boards is there one you would recommend to use have a 2006 ram truck 2500 shortbed

The Erickson Big Bed Load Extender # EM07600 would actually be a great option for your long boards since it is 48-1/2 inches wide overall. That is one of the widest load extenders available. As far as length this or really any of the extenders would be fine.
I do recommend adding a hitch immobilizer # BX88224 because these extenders are known to have a fair amount of movement in the hitch (due it part to the length of the extender).
