Can you tell me which is the better quality . dexter, or axletek brake assembly.

The Dexter braking assemblies are going to be our premium line and the AxleTek braking assemblies are going to be our economy line. Therefore, the Dexter braking assemblies will be of better quality than the AxleTek braking assemblies though both are good options.
If you have 12" diameter x 2" wide electric drum brakes then I recommend using part # AKEBRK-7-SA for AxleTek and part # 23-458-459 (6K) or part # 23-464-465 (7K) for Dexter. These assemblies are all self-adjusting which means they do not require manual adjustments after setup.
