Will the ride stay the same when not towing a rv trailer

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-209-40 will not affect the ride much on your 20098 GMC Sierra 1500 when you are not towing or it is not under a load.
It will create a bit of a stiffer ride so while you will likely notice it some, the springs are still a good option for occasional towing.
