Does SumoSpring Kit # SSR-209-40 Require Use of Spacer

Question:
Can I use the spacer when installing these Sumo Springs without them causing any damage? Is it recommended?

The thin spacer that comes with the SumoSprings kit part # SSR-209-40 that you referenced is required. Not using it would cause the spring to not engage at the correct point in the suspension travel.
