What to do with Camco RV Water Filter When Not in Use During Storage
Updated 10/25/2022 | Published 08/17/2018 >
Question:
See previous question. The answer was to put the filter in a plastic bag and place it in the refrigerator. So ... is that in the RV refrigerator which is not running? Or in a refrigerator in the home that IS running?

As you mentioned, Camco does suggest simply placing the Disposable Water Filter # CAM40043 in a plastic bag and putting it in a refrigerator for longer term storage. You will want the refrigerator to be running/cold to help prevent bacteria from forming inside the part.
