Hi, everybody. Andy here with the etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this HydroTech Pro Series yellow expandable burst-proof max-flow hose. Now this is an expandable garden hose that's designed to be really easy to use and store. So when you turn the water on, this is going to stretch to a full 100 feet. But when you shut the water off, it's going to shrink down to about a third of that size, let's say about 35 feet or so.
So all that to say, this is not going to take up much space at all. This is also much lighter than a traditional hose, about 6, 6 1/2 pounds or so. So this is going to be very easy to carry around in your yard without dragging something heavy behind you. And let me tell you, the connections are solid as well. It has 3/4 of an inch stainless steel fittings on both ends.
So this is going to hook up securely to your spigot and it's going to work with pretty much any standard nozzle, sprinkler, or accessory. There's even a built off shutoff valve, a built-in rather, a built-in shut-off valve at the end. So as you can see, that's going to be off, and that's going to be on. So you're going to be able to control the water flow right there without walking back to the faucet, which is great. But I'm very, just as a side note, very impressed with the fittings here.
They seem very solid. And so I think those are going to last you a long time. Obviously, being stainless steel, they're going to hold up well against corrosion. Performance-wise, this is built to avoid the usual hose frustrations. This is designed to be kink-free and burst-resistant with a durable latex inner core.
That's going to handle the pressure really well. The outer layer is going to resist wear and tear over time. So this uses what's called Max Flow technology, which basically means you can get stronger water flow compared to many other expandable hoses. The ends are reinforced, so that's going to help with strain. And spots where hoses usually fail, are going to be here at the end. So everything is reinforced with strain relief or strain protection, so you're not going to have to worry about that falling apart or coming apart. Another nice bonus, this is safe for drinking water, so it's lead- and BPA-free. So this is going to be good if you're using this around pets or for anything that's potable. But high-quality hose, and I do appreciate all of the extra features that I don't have with my hose at home. So if you happen to have any other questions though, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do want to be sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
