Lippert Steps 128980 Wont Stop Retracting and Extending

Question:

My motor coachs steps extend and retract normally, except that when they reach the fully-extended or fully-retracted position, they will cycle in-and-out only about 1/2 inch for 2-4 cycles before they stop. Is there a cut-out switch that maybe needs adjusting? Thanks for your help/suggestions!

The issue you described sounds like a faulty control module. In order to replace this you will want to use the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step part # LC301702 which is a direct fit for your Lippert Steps 128980. I spoke with my tech support contact at Lippert to confirm the issue.
