Just curious what the measurements of the “back “of the area is where you would weld? 6” x2”?

The Titan Trailer Coupler w/ 3-Position Adjustable Channel # T2330900 measures at the back of the channel bracket 7-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches. The Titan 3-Position Adjustable Channel Bracket # T0897800 has a video I've attached to help further.
