Question:

Have a 2007 KZ Sportsmen 33.5. GVWR 13,800 tandem axle 6000lbs each. It is equipped with Atwood leg. Require the lead leg. Can I install your part LG-179013 for replacement or do I need a higher capacity leg? I took measurements and appears to be the same.

The Lippert Components 32" Lead 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Drop Leg w/Snap Pin # LC179013 or the Replacement Lead Jack w/ Drop Leg for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear - 29-1/2" # LG-179013 will work to replace your Atwood lead leg. Atwood has been bought out by Lippert and they make these compatible parts. They both have the standard weld stop dimensions of 15-1/2 inches inside to inside and 17-1/2 inches outside to outside. They are both 29-1/2 inches in leg length with overall dimensions of 32-3/4 tall x 2-1/2 inches wide. The 4,000 lb capacity per leg will be more than enough for your 13,800 lb trailer with 12,000 lb capacity shared between the tandem axles.
