Question:
I am replaceing the bearings and seals on my boat trailer that is set up with the Accu Lube system. Question is, do I need to pre-pack the bearings before assembly, then fill in the remaining voids by greasing from the front zert, or is it OK to put all the grease in from the Zert?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The EZ Lube spindle style with the grease zerk is designed for maintaining your bearings and not for the initial grease of your bearings. The best way to pack your bearings with grease is to us the Powerbuilt Deluxe Bearing Packer # ALL647646. You want to stick with the same grease as you used or you want to clean your spindles and hubs if you are changing grease as some do not mix well.
I recommend the LubriMatic Mini Grease Gun with Marine Corrosion Control and Trailer Bearing Grease # 30-800 and # L54FR to install and maintain your system.
