As far as functionality there isn't one place that is really better than another for the Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit # D13950 on a 2017 Nissan Armada. Basically anywhere there is space for it will be a good location. On modern vehicles space in the engine compartment can be at a premium though so you will want to check ahead of time prior to installing a cooler.
This cooler is 12-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall x 4-5/16" deep overall. The width and height probably won't be any problem. It is the depth that limits where these types of coolers can mount under the hood.
It looks like there might be some space on the passenger's side but the pictures I have seen make it hard to tell if there is enough space. You might have to look up into the engine compartment from below since there is so much stuff in the way for a good top-down view.
