Replacement Trailer Axle to Replace Trailer with Older Style Brakes that Are Outdated
Published 07/31/2018 >
Question:
I have a old homemade trailer buit in 1980, the shoes on one axle have broke off and such. They are warner brakes 12x2 electric with 6 on 5.5 hubs. I was wondering if you had any brake systems to work with those drums/hubs? I have more pictures if needed or can take more. Thank you for any help!

I wish we could help, but only option we can point you towards would be new axles as what you sent in a picture of is not compatible with anything we sell.
You are going to need to measure your current axles in a few places to get the correct one as we don't have access to what your numbers reference.
You will need to measure from hub face to hub face and then from the spring seat centers. You will also need to know what bolt pattern you have on your current hubs. I attached a help article on how to determine this as well.
I also attached a link to a page with all of the axles we carry.
