Troubleshooting Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 That Won't Tighten Down

Question:

Installed Allen bolts but won’t fully tighten down. Tried to back out and was not successful. Their treaded but not tight. Will this be an issue?

If you installed the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 and you couldn't fully tighten it down and now you can't back it out I believe you have stripped the hitch pin. It might stay put how it is but I would try to uninstall it (might have to drill it out) and then install a new one properly.

Make sure when you install it that it is not facing at an angle and that you don't force it to start threading right off the bat.
