I went to our warehouse to measure the uprights and hardware of the Fulton Boat Guides # FGB1500100 so that I could determine their adjustment range once installed. Please refer to the linked photo I prepared for you.
On each of the uprights the straight horizontal portion that fits inside the mounting hardware has 11-inches of usable length and the length of the mounting brackets is 4-1/2-inches. The difference between these dimensions gives us the range of horizontal adjustment possible, which is then 6-1/2-inches for each guide. This means that the pair of guides offers as much as 13-inches of total width adjustment on the trailer.
