Question:

Do you have plastic fenders available that be a an exact fit replacement? Im think those pre-galv fenders that it comes with will rust at the edges in salt water. Thanks,

We do have a plastic fender that is similar to the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE17701G which comes with the Trailer # CE48810 but we don't have an exact replacement.

The galvanized fender measures 23-1/2" long x 7" wide x 6-1/2" tall and the closest plastc fender, part # F008542 from Fulton, measures 23-11/16" long x 7-1/2" wide x 8-11/16" tall. The Fulton fender is a white plastic and is slightly larger than the CE fender but it should work great for your application.

The galvanized finish on the fenders is actually one of the best finishes out there when it comes to salt water protection and is often used for brake assemblies. As long as you rinse off your boat trailer with freshwater after putting it in the water the galvanized finish will do a great job at corrosion resistance if you decide to stick with the original fenders.
