What size round will the opening go over

Expert Reply:
I went out into our warehouse and measured the opening of a CURT Quick Link # C82931 and found the opening to be .48 inches when completely opened. This should have no problem going over chain links that are smaller in diameter than that.
Check out the video I put together that shows me taking this measurement with a dial caliper.
