Question:
I pulled my Curt 11072 hitch off my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen TDI and would like to know if I can reinstall it on a 2015 Golf Sportwagen TDI. Thanks

I do have an option for you, however the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11474 that you pulled from your 2014 Jetta Sportwagen is not confirmed to fit your new 2015 VW Golf Sportwagen TDI. This frame on the Golf Sportwagen TDI is different enough that it requires a different hitch design.
For your 2015 Golf Sportwagen TDI, I recommend the Curt Class I Round Tube Receiver Hitch # C11411. This Class I hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation. It features a 2,000 pound towing weight capacity and a 200 pound tongue weight capacity, although you will also want to verify the vehicle's capacities by checking your copy of the owner's manual. You will just need to follow whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the hitch's. I have attached the complete installation instructions for this hitch that you can look through. All the needed hardware is included.
Also please note that Curt does require that a stabilizing strap like # 18050 be used with any non-trailer load such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product so you can see exactly how it is used.
