i wanted to know because i think will add to the tongue weight, is that right?

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Hitch # FA92-00-0600 weighs 74 lbs. This system has a tongue weight capacity of 250 lbs - 600 lbs and uses spring bars which create friction within their brackets to help control trailer sway.
