Installation of Kodiak Disc Brake Kit on 3,500 lb Axle

Question:
does it matter if the caliper is mounted on the front side or the rear side of the rotor? like on a motor vehicle rotors in front on front axle and rear on rear axle.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Hub/Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet - 3,500 lbs # K2HR35D are able to be installed in any manner the bracket will allow for proper fit and function. I've attached the installation details and have also attached a diagram to assist. I recommend putting them on the backside of the axle as that is the preference of most manufacturers.
