I am buying a 2018 Chevrolet Spark to flat tow behind my motorhome I need the right part numbers for the base plate for the car and the hitch That attaches to the base plate. Thank you so very much

If you are getting the manual transmission 2018 Chevy Spark, and it does not have the Active Air Shutters, then I recommend the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-523185-5. These base plates are confirmed to fit this vehicle and feature brackets that are virtually invisible, which allows for a clean look when you aren't towing.

For a compatible tow bar that will work great with the Chevy Spark, I recommend the 2018 Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain # RM-522. This is an excellent, 6,000 pound tow bar that has a non-binding design so you can easily release your Spark at any time, even on unlevel ground. Its extra-long telescoping arms will allow for better maneuverability and easier towing as well. For the required safety cables, you can use the Roadmaster # RM-643.

In order to flat tow your Chevy Spark behind your motorhome, you will also need a lighting solution and a supplemental braking system (if you do not already have them).

For a lighting solution, you can use the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit # RM-155. This kit will let you use the vehicle's brake, running, and signal lights without having to tap into its wiring.

Then for a supplemental braking system, I really like the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. This will give you automatic, proportional braking and once the initial installation is complete, you won't need to worry about resetting or activating the system each time you want to tow.

Lastly, you will likely need a high-low adapter to keep your tow bar level.
