Not to worry, this is a common issue and I will be happy to help you get it working again. The LED light that is showing an "L" on the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV is an indication that the unit has received a power surge. My contact at Curt advised me that in most cases if you will go ahead and unplug the controller, let it sit for a couple of minutes and reinstall it, this process will clear this code out and go back to working as designed.
If you still have problems with this controller, you can contact you for more help.
