The Pre-Cut Fender Back # 12FB-32R is made of 16 to 18 gauge material; so there are not some that are 16 gauge and some that are 18 gauge.
This fender back, which is designed for etrailer brand Trailer Fender # HP56VR, has varying thicknesses between 0.048" to 0.057" which is why there is varying gauges listed.
