Clearance Required Around Rear Jacks of Lippert Ground Control 3.0

Updated 05/29/2018 | Published 05/26/2018

Question:

Need to understand the required clearance for the rear jacks. Any idea as to the depth of the jack and mount plate? I have a set of entry stairs in the mount location thus I need to understand approximate depth measurements .

Expert Reply:

The rear jacks in the Lippert Ground Control system # LC358590 stick out from the frame by approximately 4 inches. They are 24-1/2 inches tall when fully retracted. And when fully retracted there should be 7 to 9 inches of ground clearance.

The distance from the top of the mounting bracket to the top of the motor is approximately 5-13/16 inches but you would need some additional space to be able to operate the jack manually if needed.
