Is the ball already attached and torqued to the hitch head when shipped?

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch # EQ37141ET includes a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball but it is NOT already installed. You will need a thin-walled socket like # EQ70-00-4800 or # ALL643216 to install the ball, along with a torque wrench.
The instructions for this hitch are linked for you and on page 9 the torque value for the hitch ball is noted.
