Is B&W Companion Compatible With Other Gooseneck Hitches?

Will the BandW companion fifth wheel adapter for gooseneck hitch work with a different brand gooseneck hitch other than BandW? I may buy a 2006 F350 with a non-BandW gooseneck hitch already installed and need to add a fifth wheel hitch. I prefer BandW. Thanks

The B&W Companion mounts in the B&W Turnoverball that doubles as a gooseneck hitch and will not mount on other goosenecks. B&W is a very high-quality hitch and you are right to prefer them but the only way to install a Companion is to remove your current gooseneck and put in the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion # BWGNRK1108-5W and add the Companion Slider # BWRVK3400-5W.
