I reached out to the manufacturer and the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 521001-1 is a confirmed fit for your 2006 Smart fortwo. I then recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 which will work well with those baseplates. Then you can use safety cables like # RM-643.

For your vehicle wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will utilize your vehicle wiring while protecting it and give you a clean connection to your motorhome with a coiled cable.

For your braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This kit is a permanent installation that makes it easy. There is only adjustment needed at install and then it becomes a plug and play system that is extremely reliable. It is a favorite with our installation team for these reasons. You will also want seat adapter # SM99602.
