Yes, the Edge CTS3 Programmer part # EP69YR is easy to install and is a confirmed fit for your 2004 GMC Sierra with a 6.6 liter diesel engine. It will give you up to 135 horsepower and 240 ft lbs of torque so you'll notice quite a bit of additional power and your truck will tow much easier.

You'll also notice better fuel mileage as well.

Yes, the Edge # EP69YR programmer plugs into the OBD port and prompts you through the programming process. All of the connection and mounting hardware is included with it.
