Question:
I have a 32foot travel trailer and I have been wanting to mount one of these on the bumper for a cargo rack for some time. I see that some of the racks i have been looking at are rated 500lbs. This receiver is rated for 200lbs. I have no idea what my bumper is rated for and most likely cant find out. The coach is a 2010 Primetime Lacrosse and getting manufacturer info is like pulling teeth due to the age of it. Can you give me a suggestion for a decent receiver and folding storage rack that will serve the purpose but not break the bank? I also have a spare tire mounted on this bumper. I was thinking that a folding rack such as one of the Curts would still fold up without interference. Thanks

For your 2010 Primetime Lacrosse, I recommend the Curt RV Bumper Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100. This is made much better and will be more durable than some of the other models of receivers that mount to a trailer bumper. This will give you a max capacity of 350 lbs.
Then I recommend the 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18151. This carrier will fold 9 inches from your bumper so it should fit over your spare depending on its mount. The 20x60 etrailer.com Cargo Carrier # e98874 will fold to 9-1/2 inches clearance.
With either option, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 for a sturdy connection and theft deterrent.
