Question:

We have a new Dexter #10 4000lb axle which is on a Casita Travel Trailer. Would this bolt on shock kit work on that axle?

Expert Reply:

The Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit # LC281255 is intended for a 2-3/8-inch diameter round leaf spring axle. We also have a kit for 3-inch diameter axles, part # LC281281. If your Dexter # 10 axle is a square torsion type axle (without leaf springs) then these kits cannot be used.
