Is it neccasary to fabricate such a long reciever for bumper mount ? I will be towing small ski boat only , can combo be shortened to match other bumper mount hitch’s ?

We do have other 2-1/2 inch combo bars if you want something shorter than 18 inches. We have a 12 inch model, # 337RT255812, and we have an 8 inch model, # 337RT255808. Since these are hitch fabrication parts they can be cut to the length needed.
