Replacement Dexter Equalizers and Leaf Springs for 2014 Cyclone Triple Axle Trailer

Updated 04/30/2018 | Published 04/27/2018

Question:

I have a 2014 Cyclone 4114 by Heartland, triple axle toyhauler. I have been breaking the shackle hangars from the frame, so I am en route to Taber AB to have new hangars made. Id also like to eliminate the lippart equalizer and replace with Dexter wet bolts. While I am at it, Id like to replace the 6 leaf springs. Can you help me assemble the parts needed?

The Dexter E-Z Flex Triple Axle Suspension Kit # K71-657-00 referenced in your question is designed for triple axle trailers like yours and includes four 7-3/4 inch equalizers. You can compare this size to your existing equalizers to confirm that will work well as replacements. We also have this same kit with 5-5/8 inch equalizers with the part # K71-656-00. Both kits include bolts and shackle links as well.

Then, to choose replacement leaf springs, you will just want to take a quick measurement on your existing set from eye hole to eye hole (with it unloaded). It looks like your 2014 Cyclone features three 6,000 pound axles. I have attached a link that will take you directly to our selection of double-eye springs for 6,000 pound axles, including the 6-Leaf # e94SR that you were looking at, which measures 26 inches long.

I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these products that you can also check out.
