Question:

Do these work as well for pulling trailers I have a 7 by 14 foot trailer I pull behind with my truck will this work with the trailers as well as it does the bike rack and cargo racks

An anti-rattle hitch pin will work for both hitch mounted accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers in addition to a ball mount with a hollow shank. However, most ball mounts have a solid shank and most anti rattle hitch pins used for bike racks are specific to that rack which is also the case for the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Bolt part 25056 which only works with Softride hitch-mounted bike racks and cargo carriers.

A better option for a ball mount with a solid shank is a sleeve type anti rattle device like part # GY88XR which also takes the guesswork out of aligning the hitch pin hole and hitch pin each time you insert the shank into the receiver tube opening. You can still use a locking hitch pin like part # e98880 with this device as well.
