The Curt Pop-In Ball, part # C60629, has a shank with a diameter of 2-1/4 inches and is 3 inches long. It's designed specifically to fit the factory gooseneck hitches that are an option with newer model Fords, GMs, and Nissans. If this is what you have then the hitch ball will fit your truck.

If you have a different model truck, or don't have a factory gooseneck hitch, let me know what you have and I'll see if we have a ball that will work for you. For example if you have a Ram with the factory gooseneck hitch you need part # C60601 instead. It's shank has a diameter of 2-1/4 inches also but it's only 2-3/4 inches long.
