Re: Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes Item # TH05820 I have an old freecycled Thule Mountaineer that Im trying to rehab. The Thule site shows 3 different models - 669, 669ES and 669TT. Do you know what the differences are? Id like to upgrade it to use the Easysnap kit, but Im unsure if itll fit. Mine has carriage bolts and thumbscrews. More questions - What is the interior width of the u-bolts in this kit? I have an Outback with integral bars, and theyre kinda wide. Do you sell a Lid Lifter for this box? One of those is busted too. Cheers

For your Thule Mountaineer, the correct replacement hardware is # TH04997. The distance between the mounting holes is 4 inches from bolt hole center to bolt hole center. Check out the picture I attached to see this measurement. The EasySnap hardware has been discontinued and was only a fit for the ES models.
The lid lifter you want for your replacement is the Dual Force Strut # TH14933.
