Brake Controller Install Recommendation for 2018 Ram 1500

Question:

I recently purchased a 2018 Ram and the plug under the dash appears to be 8 pins in a row trapezoid shape plug does not match my Reese trailer brake plug, which is 4 pin. Please point me to the correct adapter. Thanks ,

The correct brake controller install harness for your 2018 Ram 1500 is the part # 3024-P which it sounds like you have. Most likely you grabbed the wrong harness on your vehicle for this to plug into.

Best option I have would be for you to check out the install video I attached below to find where the harness needs to plug in on your Ram.
