Question:
On a ford 2017 superduty 350 what actuator 1500lbs or 1600lbs will work with the built in factory controller and which one is best

Both the Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit part # T4813102 and the HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator part # HS381-8067 will work well for you assuming you have disc brakes on your trailer. The 1,500 and 1,600 lb psi rating should not really be much of a concern as neither system will be applying this pressure in full each time you hit the brakes.
In regards to preference, I recommend the HydraStar as it has a longer warranty (2 years) compared to the (1 year) of the Titan. If the factory integrated brake controller on your 2017 Ford F-350 does not have an electric over hydraulic mode (EOH) then you will also need an adapter, part # T4845900 for the Titan actuator or part # HBA-CAM for the HydraStar actuator.
I have attached a review video of each actuator for you as well so you can make a comparison of your own.
