Will Curt Brake Controller C74VV Fit a 2015 GMC Yukon XL

Yes, you can use the Curt brake controller # C74VV in your 2015 GMC Yukon XL. If your Yukon came with the factory tow package that included a 7-Way trailer connector you will also need wiring harness # C51451 to plug the controller into the port under the dash.

If your Yukon did not come with a factory tow package and 7-Way the brake controller can be wired to a set of factory wiring located under the dash, to the left of the steering column, held together with a white tag. You would need a different wiring harness for this installation, # C51515, which will be spliced to the factory wiring under the dash:

Yukon red/black wire to controller black wire
Yukon white wire to controller white wire
Yukon light blue/white to controller red
Yukon dark blue to controller blue

And if you haven't yet added a 7-Way you can use # 30955.

For either type of installation there may be some connections that will need to be made under the hood to make everything fully functional. I have linked a help article that covers this.
